April 20 of 2013 witnessed a gathering of dozens of alumni of Grade 1988 International Finance majors and Grade 1989 Insurance majors who went back to Wuhan University from various places of China.

To commemorate their affection to the school, the alumni of Grade 1988 International Finance majors planted a 20-year old Ginkgo in the lawn in front of the Economics of Management School building.

In the gathering and symposiums held later, the alumni expressed their yearnings and gratitude towards the mother school, teachers, and classmates.

At the conclusion of the gathering, the alumni expressed their sincere wishes to the mother school and appointed to meet again at the 120th anniversary celebration of Wuhan University.
